What's in the box?
Magic Jimmy Spark AI printer, Quick Guide, 200g white PLA filament, spool holder, magnetic base plate, calibration card, pliers, and power adapter. Due to ongoing product updates, accessories may differ slightly from images shown. Always refer to what's in your actual box.
What age is the Magic Jimmy Spark AI suitable for?
Recommended for children aged 8 and up. The fully enclosed design, automatic leveling, and one-tap printing make it safe and easy enough for kids to use independently with light adult supervision.
Do I need to calibrate or level the printer before using it?
No. The Magic Jimmy Spark AI comes pre-calibrated and pre-leveled from the factory. You can start printing right out of the box. If prints start warping after extended use, see the
Bed Calibration guide.
How do I connect the printer to Wi-Fi?
Download the Magic Jimmy App, open it, and follow the on-screen steps to connect your printer to your home Wi-Fi. The printer supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. For a full walkthrough, see
Get Started.
Does the printer need to stay connected to the app during printing?
No. Once the print file is uploaded to the printer, you can close the app or move out of Wi-Fi range — printing will continue without interruption.
How long does a print take?
Small models can finish in as little as 20 minutes. Most models from the library take 1–3 hours depending on size and complexity. The app shows an estimated print time before you start.
Will the printer shut down automatically when printing finishes?
No. The printer enters a low-energy standby mode after printing is complete, but it will not shut down automatically. Switch it off manually from the power button at the back when not in use.
Can my child print their own designs?
Yes. The Magic Jimmy App has five built-in AI design tools — AI Craft, AI Doodle, AI MiniMe, and MiniMakie — that let children design original models from sketches, photos, or descriptions. You can also import any STL file via Create → Import file.
What if a model is too large for the print bed?
Use the Scale function in the app to resize the model before printing. The Magic Jimmy Spark AI has a print volume of 120 × 120 × 120 mm.
A model is split into multiple print tasks — how do I print all of them?
The first task starts printing automatically. Once it finishes, remove the print, then go to the Unprinted tab in the app to start the next task. No re-uploading needed.
How do I adjust print settings like layer height or supports?
Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner of the 3D model screen. From there you can adjust bed adhesion, layer height, infill density, and support type.

I registered an account but can't log in after changing the app language. Why?
The app's account system is language-specific. If you registered in one language version, it won't work in another. Switch back to the original language to log in, or sign up again in the current language.
What are Magic Jimmy Coins?

What is the recommended room temperature for printing?
15–30°C (59–86°F). Avoid placing the printer near air vents, open windows, or areas with significant temperature changes.
How much space does the printer need?
Leave at least 15 cm of clearance at the back for the filament spool. No specific clearance is needed on the other three sides.
How do I maintain the printer over time?
After six months of regular use, apply a small amount of lubricating oil to the screw rod and smooth rod. Regularly clean residual filament from the nozzle and keep the base plate clean. Store unused filament in a sealed bag to prevent dampening.
What does error code 129 or 130 mean?
Typically caused by a loose nozzle. Remove and reinstall the nozzle to fix it. See the
Quick Swap Nozzle guide.
